Pretty large cottage in beautiful garden with fruit trees, a short walk to the sea where quiet swimming is safest in Rio Tuba Creek (which streams into the sea).
Well equipped, 2 bedrooms each with comfortable queen bed. Furniture may look a bit outdated (owners plan some upgrades) but it's clean and complete and the price increadibly low for what you get. Also lots of extra's and service from the very nice owners.
As it is 4 km from downtown Cahuita, you stay without the noise which you may get downtown; we did wake up once 2 out of 3 nights from their guard dogs and once because of howler monkeys (a great experience); apart from that incident it's very quiet.
As Cahuita NP is the only Costa Rica NP which doesn't charge ridicolous prices (it's by donation while we've seen prices as high as $ 20 per person) try to book more than the 3 days we did so you can visit that park a few times + lots of other things to do.
