This is one of the best finds ever. The impressing home is down a small through road with little traffic which doesn't drive fast because it's about a single lane road there. The house is situated just above a loch with a large grassy garden sloping down to the water. The house is large and has 5 bed rooms on both 2 floors ranging from a large room with a full width balcony overlooking the loch, an equally large room with multiple single beds to rooms with 2 twin or 1 double bed rooms. As often in the UK, double beds are pretty small but unless you travel with 10 people indeed, there's choice enough to cope with that. The lower floor features a large glass house with a stunning undisturbed view on the lake, comfortable sofas and chairs and even a piano and guitar. The large kitchen, with table + chairs, is fully equipped, including a dish washer and a luxurious oven and breadmaking machine. A separate room features a washing machine and dryer. There's even a separate dining room should you wish to use it. There are 4 bathrooms in the home, most with showers and/or bath. It is absolutely quiet there; the bit of traffic passing by will hardly be noticed; the next 2 houses are well away in either direction of the home and we haven't heard anything from there either. You will just hear birds and sheep. From the balcony we saw deer multiple times and even a marter on the balcony. A few 100 meters from the house is the entry to a nice forest with multiple footpaths to either the shore or the village of Lochinver. There you can find some basic facilities like some shops (a.o. a Spar), petrol, ATM.
