Hôtel Le Presbytère |
Rue de la Verrerie Parijs Boek veilig via Booking.com |
This turns out to be a building from the 16th-17th century
that was first called Hotel Saint Merry and was opened again in 2019 after 2
years of renovation. There are now 11 rooms and 1 suite on the 4th floor.
Friendly reception, only stairs. The room is very modern with e.g. old wooden
beams in the ceiling but a Nespresso machine with capsules, tea maker, large
microwave, 2 very good beds, very soundproof (open the window and you can hear
the buzz on the street, close it and you don't hear anything anymore), good
silent airco. There is a niche next to your bed, a small shower and a large
bathroom with shower and rain shower and toilet with a nice sink.
The hotel
is located in the city center, near a metro station (5 min walk) and a stop from
the Batobus; this is a hop-on-hop-off boat on the Seine. There are many
restauarns in the area. In short, a great base!
