Large room with stunning
view from partly open at the
right site (only musquito
net) glasshouse at the end
of the room. View starts in
garden but as we had 3 days
of bright sunshine (an
exception in that area) we
could see until the ocean
(Golfo de Nicoya).
Lots
of birds.
Interior looks
simple but as it has a fully
equipped kitchen, seperate
bathroom + toilet + washing
bassin, DVD player DVD's +
monitor + fast internet, 2
comfortable bedrooms and
it's all very clean.
You
get a lot of value for
money. Owner is very
helpful. Place is just a few
100 meters from quiet main
road but feels remote and it
was one of the very few
places in Costa Rica were
barking dogs were (almost
and then only remote)
absent.
Park entries are high (e.g. $ 20 pp for Monteverde) but you might as well try to spot wildlife from the road (owner has a map on places you have a good chance); still don't expect to see much wildlife except birds either inside or outside the park.
