Neighbourhood | Tembe Elephant Park protects the largest species of African elephant. There are many nyalas and antelopes. Reasonable opportunity to see buffalo and rhinos; chance to see lions, small chance of leopard (is seen 1-2 times a month), no cheetahs. Beautiful varied landscape. |

extra | Wifi reception around. Many small attentions. Safaris at 6:00 and 15:00 last 3 to 3.5 hours. Tembe distinguishes itself with relatively low price for all-in safaris. Parks asking 3-4 times as much offer some extras like drinks included (Tembe only coffee/tea), more snacks/drinks during stops (instead paid chilled cans), a tracker searching for spores (here, the guide/driver does that), more easier (for them) to find species (often in smaller areas). The total experience of Tembe is excellent. |
