Limpopo River Bush Retreat |
Molope Farm, Sherwood, Botswana |
A beautifully furnished large one-room bungalow with a good bed, sitting area, kitchen and dining table. Beautiful (separate) bathroom and outdoor shower. Terrace with nice couch, hammock, hanging lounger and dining table.
Every morning a walking safari, adapted to your possibilities. You walk through both Botswana bushland and along the green banks of the Limpopo, which also contains water in the dry season because of the dam that lies there. You can e.g. see crocodiles or hippos and the guide, e.g. Joseph, makes something special of it.
After this safari follows a breakfast, fully adapted to dietary
requirements with delicious homemade cookies, muesli, fruit salad
etc. You can bake eggs yourself and there is excellent coffee. In
the afternoon again a safari, this time in a jeep. There is also a
nice pool and fruit and vegetables from the garden; what is
harvested depends of course on the season. You are fantastically
cared for. Wifi in bungalow.
Currently there is a bungalow + a
small house for any extra guests of the same group. A bungalow is
being built. On the border between these two a beautiful pool with
many artefacts and also a covered boma where breakfast is served. It
was very quiet and you hear almost only nature sounds. There are 4
dogs at the house, the smallest of which have barked 'false alarms'
just like a squirrel. But that was certainly not structural.
